Magebird Popup Extension for Magento

As a startup in IT, we have developed many e-commerce websites like pragatiprakashan.in or urmilabooks.in . We were on look out for a Magento extension that could solve our problem. We wanted popups to be quirky and informative. During our research we came across many Magento extensions but nothing was able to match the well designed and highly professional popups and opt-in forms from Magebird

A basic popup includes following functionality

  1. Targeting Options
  2. Customization option to adjust the look and feel of popup
  3. Newsletter/sign up subscriptions
  4. Performance stats to track each popup

However, along with all these features Magebird Popup estension provided advanced popup display options like Popup slide up on click etc. You will not believe it unless you give it a try. So we decided to test it with our website and it took less than half an hour to install the plugin and make it work smoothly. It was easy to understand and learn the functionality of the plugin. We felt spoilt by the quantity and variety of well designed banners. 🙂

In short, MageBird Popup extension offers unique features. The popup extension is very helpful for customers and gives them confidence to purchase from our website. Customers feel more involved and leverage discounts which are clearly visible to them via popups. This extension is SEO friendly and it increases performance by 50% using special effects.

I would suggest all Magento developers and people whose website runs on Magento to try Magebird’s Popup extension. Here are a few sample popups you can create via this extension:

White Screen of Death (WP Statistics)

Last evening one of our client’s website faced the dreaded White Screen of Death. Upon investigation we found out that the error was caused by one of the plugins, called WP Statistics. Apparently, the issue cropped up after the recent update of either the plugin or WordPress. Few other users have also reported the same error.

The error states: Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /…/wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/functions/parse-user-agent.php on line 123

We have notified the author of the plugin of the error. If you’re facing the same error keep a watch on this thread for further updates on the error.
